Just after his release from prison Ikkaku was heading home when a strange burning sensation ripped through his entire being; and it was then, during the half moon that the dragon within was released. It had been a combination of the magical power that had been on reserve inside him and the raw power that strained for release that brought about the dragon’s creation. It was given the name [Eklyps] due to the night of its creation and the fact that it is a part of Ikkaku, almost like a shadow incarnation. [Eklyps] is a midnight black mesh of scales with red sails of crimson down its back. His tail is quite unusual and forks into a pair of razor-shape spears that it will use to pin its victim in place, taking the time to savor its new-found victory, before either finishing them off or leaving them a blood-ridden mess. It all depends on the situation. Though [Eklyps] has an insatiable lust for blood and a good fight though he does have some sense of self-control; which is of course thanks to Ikkaku. Besides wrecking havoc and causing chaos, [Eklyps] has a thing for lurking in the shadows and stalking its potential victims. Utilizing something called patience, a trait Ikkaku lacks, the dragon will wait within the darkness for hours on end before deciding to spread its massive crimson wings; their color against the splay of black making it seem as though one is being stared down by the devil himself.
